Heat is horrible. Not only does excessive heat cause dehydration, but it also can dampen spirits. Perhaps I am a true Pacific Northwesterner, because I miss the rain. I actually look forward to the next day which will bring us some dreary looking rain. I wouldn't even mind a rainy day in the middle of summer. At least the rain would keep me cooler.
Today is another hot day in Dayton, Oregon. I hope that tomorrow brings me a few gray clouds.
