Grade school field trips can be a little bit stressful. Today, I went on a field trip with some third graders I work with. There seemed to be hundreds if not thousands of other kids at the baseball park. I was in charge of four kiddos. First, the kids were hungry. Then, they were thirsty. Later, they were too hot and couldn't sit in the sun anymore.
Miss Bunn, that's me, doesn't usually allow whining from the kids she works with. Today, the kids maxed out their free passes to whine. But I suppose this post makes me just as whinny. Isn't that what I'm doing?
All in all, it was a good field trip. I got to see a little bit of baseball, check out Portland again, and hang out with some pretty awesome kids.
